Definition of Exploding Offer

When a company gives a job offer to a candidate with a very short deadline to either accept or reject it. If the candidate does not respond before the deadline, the company will withdraw the offer.

Example: The candidate was given an exploding offer with a deadline to respond within 24 hours. The candidate asked the recruiter for more time because they were considering multiple offers.
