Definition of Force Multiplier

A person who has the ability to increase the effectiveness of a team or organization, often by bringing a unique set of skills, ideas and resources to the table. This person is capable of taking a small team or organization and making it much more successful, often through their leadership, communication and problem solving abilities.

Example: The engineering manager is a great leader that helps unblock his team when needed, and also often brings together other engineering teams in the company to deliver projects faster. These attributes make him a force multiplier.
