An error or problem experienced by a user of a computer system that is due to the user misunderstanding or not following instructions of the computer system. It is generally used to refer to errors made by the user when interacting with the software, rather than errors made by the software itself.
Example: We got a bug report, but it might user error. Let's try to reproduce the bug to find out if its a system issue or user error.
