Definition of White Label

When a company sells a product to other companies, and allows them to rebrand and package the product as if it were their own and resell the product themselves to consumers or other businesses.

Example: The company didn't want to spend time building a new software product for the niche, so the company decided to white label an existing software product created by another company, brand it as their own product, and then market and sell it.
