Definition of Deal Review

When a company's sales operations team or its sales leadership reviews the terms of a deal with a potential customer to make sure it follows the company's sales guidelines

Example: The sales rep and the propsective customer reached a tentative agreement on the contract, but before moving forward the contract needed to be approved by the company's internal deal process.
